Volunteers Make Things Happen!

Takshanuk Watershed Council is proud to have a strong community dedicated to the mission and vision of the council.  There are several ways in which you can participate in the work of the council.

Volunteer

We are always glad to have volunteers help on our projects.  Your skills and experieces broaden our capacity to get things started, moving and finished.

If you are interested in working in the Haines Schools on field trips, going out with our field crew, harvesting willows for restoration or helping in the office, we want to hear from you!  Volunteers are needed for many projects and new and different skills are always welcome.  Call us at (907) 766-3542 or contact us to volunteer.

If you have a particular interest in serving on TWC's governing body, you are welcome to attend Board of Directors meetings to get to know our projects, planning and staff.  Our nine-member Board currently has two openings.
