Chilkoot Indian Association and Takshanuk Watershed Council are hosting the Chilkat River Cleanup.
Float down the river in rafts donated by Chilkat Guides and walking along the road, picking up trash. Bring your own raft or canoe and/or truck to help carry volunteers and trash.
Be sure to bring gloves, boots, old clothing, your favorite beverage and any extra tools that may be useful. Be ready to get dirty!!
Volunteer sign-up sheets are located at Howsers, Oleruds, and Mt. Market.
Meet at the TWC office at 9:00 am on May 5.
Mountain Market will be donating a small lunch for each volunteer during the cleanup.
